Frozen vegetables are an awesome alternative to fresh in a lot of ways; they are normally much more affordable than fresh vegetables, they are widely available, and they stay for a long time in the freezer. These are so many different recipes you can make easily with frozen vegetables, so keep these in your freezer at all times!

Broccoli

Frozen broccoli is perfect to have for all sort of stir-frys. Whether you want to make it all vegetarian with tofu and soy sauce or go for spicy and garlicky shrimp, broccoli is a key player in stir-frys, fresh or frozen!

Peas

Frozen peas are perfect because they’re already shucked and are super delicious! One of the best recipes to make with them is pea soup. Just add some to a pot with a little broth and mint, blend it up and enjoy!

Artichokes

Artichokes can be painful to eat and to buy. With some being as much as $3.50 per globe, it is simply and unfortunately unattainable for many. But, you can buy the hearts, which are really the best part, frozen, so you can use them all the time! Put them in a fresh tomato sauce with black olives and you have a delicious meal.
