It’s hard to go wrong in the kitchen with spinach. This leafy green is extremely versatile and can be used in tons of different ways. From quiches to fresh in salads, spinach comes in handy in a multitude of dishes and is healthy to boot.

Garlic sauteed spinach, however, is my favorite way to enjoy the vegetable. It can go with nearly any main course as a delicious and nutritious side dish. Here’s how to prepare garlic sauteed spinach and make it taste fantastic.

Ingredients

  • 500 g spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper

Instructions

Start off by taking your spinach leaves and washing them thoroughly under running water. Once you’ve done this, set them aside.

The next thing you’ll want to do is to mince the four cloves of garlic. You’ll brown them before adding the spinach.

Pour one tablespoon of olive oil into a large pan. Next, place the garlic into the pan and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

Next, add the spinach into the pan. Finish off the seasoning process by sprinkling the leaves with salt and black pepper.

Turn the stove’s heat up to medium-high and cook for about 2 minutes, or until the leaves are wilted.

Enjoy this fantastic side dish!
