Get Creative with your Extra Deli Meat

Whether you have a big family that loses interest in regular turkey sandwiches, or have extra deli meat from a platter or party, it can be hard to think what to do with it besides more sandwiches. In reality, there’s a lot you can do with deli meat, so check out these fun recipes!

Hash

There’s nothing better in the morning than a great big plate of hash. To make it, all you have to do is saute some onions, cubes of potatoes, and whatever else you have in your fridge that you want to get rid of. Add in whatever type of deli meat, whether it’s roast beef, ham, or turkey at the end and serve it with a fried egg!

Use it as Stuffing

No one can resist something that’s been stuffed, especially a food like chicken breast that can sometimes get a little boring. Instead, jazz it up by slitting it up, and stuffing it with some deli meat, cheese, and vegetables!  Bake it to perfection and enjoy your stuffed treat.

Freeze It

Worst comes to worse, if you’re really all deli-ed out, you can always freeze the extra meat! Stored properly you have deli meat for several months in your fridge, and all you have to do is let it thaw out and your back in business.
