If you haven’t tried making cauliflower wings before, get ready for a flavor-packed but still healthy indulgence. These crispy cauliflower wings are not only a vegetarian delight but also a crowd-pleaser that everyone will crave. Here’s how to make them.

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cauliflower head
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup of milk (plant-based or regular)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 cup of buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter (or vegan butter)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until you have a smooth batter.
  2. Cut up your cauliflower into florets and dip each one into the batter, coating it evenly, and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cauliflower is golden and crispy.
  3. While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a separate bowl.
  4. Once the cauliflower is done, transfer the florets to a large mixing bowl and pour the buffalo sauce mixture over them. Toss until each piece is generously coated.
  5. Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the wings are crispy and the sauce is caramelized.
