If the taste of a creamy, juicy garlic chicken isn’t enough to convince you to try this dish, then perhaps the convenience of being whipping up this scrumptious meal in a single pot will do the trick. Either way, here’s your guide to cooking a creamy one-pot garlic chicken that is sure to go down well.

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 ounce Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 garlic head
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/4 cups chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together flour, garlic powder, pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cut the chicken breasts in half and submerge each piece in the flour mixture until well-coated.
  2. Throw oil and butter into a large skillet and warm over medium-high heat. Place the chicken in the skillet and fry for 2 to 3 minutes before flipping. Make sure that each side is cooked until lightly golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat to medium before cooking garlic for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Pour wine into the skillet, thereby deglazing it. Then pour the chicken broth and remaining sauce, stirring for about 10 minutes. Finally, add parmesan and resubmerge the chicken in the skillet. Allow to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Top chicken with parsley when serving.
