It’s a nice Saturday evening and your crew is coming over to hang out. You look in the refrigerator and discover that it’s filled with only three tomatoes and expired milk. Knowing there’s no way you can make a delectable meal from that combination, you think about what will get the folks riled up.

Well, everyone loves tacos and pizza rolls. Why not combine them to create the best snack of all time?

Getting Your Ingredients

What exactly do you need to conjure up this great snack? Well, you can’t simply pick up Taco Bell and Totino’s and find some way to work the two together. You’ll need the right ingredients to make this snack work.

First, you’ll need a half pound of ground beef. The best kind of ground beef for this kind of recipe would be ground chuck or lean. Next, you’re going to need one can of pizza crust. While you can pick any kind out there, the best kind is easily the Pillsbury refrigerated classic pizza crust.

In order to give it that taco zing, some seasoning will be used. Two tablespoons of Old El Paso mix will certainly do the trick. To make things a bit cheesy, bring in one cup of shredded Mexican blend cheese. As an added bonus, you can bring in some sour cream, guacamole, onion, lettuce, and tomato as toppings.

Now that you have everything, it’s time to get cooking! First, preheat the oven to 400º F. Get the baking sheet ready with some baking spray. Set the sheet aside, and bring out the skillet for the meat.

Dump the ground beef on it, and cook until the pink has vanished. It’s important to have the pink removed from the meat in order to avoid any sort of food poisoning. You wouldn’t want your guests leaving your home with a bad stomach. After you’re done draining the meat, add three tablespoons of water and the taco seasoning. Let it cook for about three minutes before setting it aside.

Now We’re Cooking

Take the pizza dough and unroll it in a rectangle shape. When you’re done, top it with the cooked meat and the shredded cheese.

Now, here comes the crucial part. Roll the entire dough up in a long roll. Take a knife, and divide the long roll into 18 one inch slices. Remember that baking sheet from earlier? It’s time to put that to use. Place all of the rolls on top of the baking sheet and send it to the oven.

The tasty treats need around 10 to 12 minutes to fully cook before they’re ready to eat. When they’re done, let them cool off, and serve your guests when they come over! If there’s somehow any left, place the leftovers in the refrigerator.

Please note that you might need to make more if you’re expecting a bigger crowd. In that case, double up on the ingredients and set aside some more time to prepare.
