If there is any food that is associated with going camping, it has to be smores. Made with graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows, they evoke outdoor experiences and the happiness of spending time outdoors with your family and closest friends.

What many people don’t know, however, is that it’s totally possible to make smores even if you aren’t outside sitting around a campfire.

Here’s a recipe that’ll show you how to make smores in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Ingredients

  • Graham crackers
  • Chocolate Squares
  • Marshmallows
  • Wooden skewer

Instructions

Start off by taking your graham crackers and breaking them in half. This is the base of a proper smore, and what you’ll use for the “bread” of the sandwich.

Take one half of the graham cracker and set it on a plate. On top of this graham cracker half, put a square of either dark or milk chocolate (whichever you prefer!).

Now, you’ll want to take a large marshmallow and place it on one of the ends of a wooden skewer.

Go to your stove and turn it onto high heat.

Place the skewered marshmallow on top of the stove’s heat source and wait for it to heat up and momentarily catch fire.

Blow it out, and voila: you have your perfectly charred smore marshmallow.

Place the marshmallow on top of the chocolate, and then remove it from the skewer using the second graham cracker half.

Enjoy!
