The multiple Oscar winner is known as one of the best-loved stars in Hollywood, with fans and peers both singing his praises. Not only has he been the recipient of numerous awards during his 40-year career, but he is also an advocate for environmentalism, space exploration, LGBTQ+ rights, and army veterans.
Hanks’s latest venture is a coffee company with all the profits being used to support troops and their families.
“I gotta have coffee a few times a day, but it has to be good coffee, made my way, and WHY NOT have my needs serve a good cause???” the star of A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood wrote on Instagram. “Behold: @givehanx H*A*N*X coffee! ALL PROFITS will go to organizations that support our Veterans and their families (all profits means every nickel beyond the making and shipping and such).”
Hanx for Our Troops will use ethically sourced and environmentally sustainable beans to make its coffee that will be available in 3 forms.
Customers can choose between freshly ground dark and medium roast arabica beans, pods that come in 3 different blends (including Tom’s Morning Magic Blend), and instant sachets to which you simply need to add boiling water.
