If breakfast is your favorite meal of the day and you’d like to treat yourself to tasty pancakes, that doesn’t mean you have to compromise your diet or break any promises you made to yourself. We have a recipe for healthy pancakes that taste even better than the original ones and you can eat them whenever you want, completely guilt-free.
Ingredients
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup cream cheese
4 eggs
1 tsp grated lemon peel
Some butter for frying
Instructions
Mix almond flour, cream cheese, eggs, and lemon peel in a bowl until you get a smooth batter.
It’s ready for frying! Melt a tsp of butter in a pan, then pour some batter over it. The quantity will depend on whether you want smaller or bigger pancakes.
Fry for a few minutes, then turn to the other side and leave for another few minutes.
Serve with your favorite pancake topping! If you want to stay on the healthy side, you can blend some yogurt and fruits and pour it over the pancakes, then decorate with frozen fruit.
