If you don’t have the energy to make dinner but want something homemade, this sheet pan sausage and pepper recipe will fit you perfectly!
Ingredients
- 4-6 Italian sausage links of the variety of your choice
- 1 yellow or orange bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 yellow onion
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
- First, start by preheating your oven to 425 F.
- Line your sheet pan with a Silpat or parchment paper so nothing sticks to the pan.
- Cut the onion in half and then into half-moons and put them onto the pan. Drizzle with about 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper them, and roast them for 3-5 minutes and then move them to one side of the pan.
- Cut up both the peppers into strips and place them in the middle of the sheet pan. Drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons of olive, and season them with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Finally, put the sausages in the open spaces on the sheet pan but make sure they’re not touching each other.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes until sausages are brown, the onions are translucent, and the peppers are slightly charred.
- Serve right off the sheet pan or with toasted rolls and enjoy!
