To prepare the chocolate mousse box you’ll need 5 eggs, 2 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1/3 cup self-raising flour, 50 g butter, 2 tablespoons vanilla bean paste, canola oil spray, 3/4 cup caster sugar, 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 150 g 70% cocoa dark chocolate.
For the mousse you need 1/3 cup sifted icing sugar mixture, 2 tablespoons Frangelico liqueur, 300 ml carton double cream and 2 eggs (separated).
Set the oven on 180 C degrees and prepare your pans with baking paper. First beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla to get an even mixture. Mix the cocoa powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Put one-third of the flour mixture in the one with the eggs. Continue adding slowly until it’s all combined together. Pour it in two pans and bake them for 15 minutes.
