The total cooking time is 25 minutes and the recipe is meant for 4 servings. If you ever have leftover French croissants at home feel free to use them.

Ingredients

  • 4 mini croissants cut into half
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 cup milk
  • butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • fresh berries
  • maple syrup
  • whipped cream

Instructions

Get a skillet and add some butter to it. Turn on the stove to medium heat.

Combine the vanilla extract, eggs, orange zest, sugar, cinnamon, and milk together. Mix them well.

Get the croissants and start dipping each half in the egg mixture. Leave them in for a few seconds before placing them in the skillet.

Cook the croissants for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. When they’re all done you can start putting together the French croissant toast.

Place one croissant half on the plate. Top it off with the berries then add the other half. Finish off with maple syrup and whipped cream.
