Gone are the days of being impressed when a barista adds a cute little milk heart to at the top of your morning latte; nowadays, it’s all about three-dimensional coffee art.
Taiwanese barista and cafe owner Chang Kuei-fang is making a name for herself and her coffee joint by crafting tasty lattes and incredible 3D animal art on top of them for the world to “ooh” and “aah” at. She takes it a step further by allowing her customers to bring in photos of their beloved furry creatures, permitting her to make a replica of these photos via foam, color dye, and a lot of creativity.
Each of Kuei-fang’s barista artworks takes about 5-10 minutes to complete and costs a pretty penny at $20 a cup. If it’s artwork, however, surely her customers don’t mind to make the investment.
