Tea Blends Make a Delightful Gift

We all have that one friend. The one who has everything. And the one we never know what to buy anything for.

It’s sometimes said that tea is like a hug in a cup and one size of a hug fits all, so why not gift them some of these homemade tea blends?

Chocolate Mint

Black tea is used to give this blend a strong, rich flavour, but not one that is too overpowering. Add dried mint and cacao nibs which are fermented cocoa beans and you have dessert in liquid form.

Apple and Cinnamon

The classic combination of warm spice and tart fruit makes this tea feel like apple pie in a mug. Use dried apple cut into small pieces, cinnamon sticks, and South African rooibos (red bush) tea.

Strawberry Rose

Perfumed sweet flavours are what this blend is all about. Oolong tea gives a good base for the dried strawberries and dried rose petals to brew.

Chai

You can’t possibly talk tea without mentioning chai. The word is the Hindu translation for tea (making chai tea slightly redundant). This exotic blend includes ground allspice, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger.
