Blueberry muffins are one of those breakfast staples that everyone loves. Although you can always buy them from the store, it’s so much nicer to have them fresh out of the oven, and it will save you so much money! They’re very quick to make and once you get them down you’ll be making them all the time.

Ingredients

There aren’t many ingredients in the batter so make sure you have all of them! For this recipe, you’ll need milk, an egg, vegetable oil, flour, baking powder, sugar, and blueberries. You can use fresh or frozen blueberries, the flavor won’t be affected either way.

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F and fill your muffin tin with paper cups.
  2. Stir together your wet ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, pour a bit of flour over the blueberries and toss to coat. This will make sure the blueberries disperse evenly throughout the batter.
  4. Shake off the excess flour and pour the blueberries into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients.
  5. Combine the batter in as few stirs as you can as not to overwork it.
  6. Pour into the muffin tin and bake for about 20 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
