  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (or a mix of your favorite cookie add-ins like nuts, M&M’s, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a pizza pan with parchment paper.

  3. Separately, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually combine with the wet ingredients, avoiding overmixing. Fold in chocolate chips evenly. 
  4. Spread the dough on the pan, forming a large circle with a small border. 
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and set, avoiding overbaking. 
  6. Let the cookie cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack. Serve sliced.
