Imagine a dessert that combines the sweet, juicy flavors of fresh strawberries with the creamy, tangy goodness of cheesecake. That’s right, we’re talking about strawberry cheesecake. Here’s how to bring this dreamy dessert to life.

Ingredients:

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Filling

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 4 (8-ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs

Strawberry Topping

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter, pressing into a 9-inch pan. Bake the crust for 10 minutes and cool.
  3. In a bowl, toss 1 cup strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth, adding eggs one by one, then fold in the sugar-coated strawberries.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust. Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes. Let it cool.
  6. For the topping, cook sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, cornstarch, and water over medium-low heat until thickened.
  7. Cool the topping and spread over cheesecake.
