These Breakfast Pops are Worth Waking Up for!

It’s always been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But it also happens to occur at the most inconvenient time…

How many times have you found yourself in a complete rush in the morning, leaving little to no time to have that all-important meal? Exactly.

The equation becomes even more complicated when kids enter the mix and there are shoes to tie and hair to comb all the while having to get to school before that first bell.

That’s why these breakfast pops are going to be the thing you look forward to waking up to. And the kids are going to love getting to eat “ice cream” for breakfast!

Ingredients

• ½ cup blueberries
• ½ cup strawberries
• ½ cup blueberry jam
• ½ strawberry jam
• 1 tbsp honey
• ½ tsp vanilla essence
• 2 cup honey nut Cheerios (or cereal of your choice)
• ½ cup full-cream milk
• 2 cup plain yoghurt

Method

  1. Combine the yoghurt, milk, honey, and vanilla in a bowl.
  2. Pour some of the mixture into a popsicle mould. Add jam, fruit, and cereal, before adding more yoghurt. Alternate as you like.
  3. Place popsicle stick in mould and freeze overnight (at least 6 hours).
  4. Enjoy!
