Burgers are a staple for summer, and really all times of the year. However, it can start to get a little boring when it’s the same beef patty over and over again.
Instead, change up dinner and make these Middle Eastern-inspired lamb burgers! They are packed full of flavor and come together quickly and deliciously! Pair them with a garlic-heavy tahini sauce, and it’s a match made in heaven.
Ingredients
1 pound of ground lamb
1 shallot
3 cloves of garlic
½ cup of chopped parsley
½ teaspoon of paprika
½ teaspoon of coriander
½ teaspoon of cumin
⅛ teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
First, finely mince the garlic or put it through a garlic press.
Chop up the shallots so they are finely minced as well.
Then, mix everything together in a bowl until well combined.
Take a little less than a handful of the meat mixture and form it into a small patty.
Heat up a pan on medium-high heat, and add in olive oil. Or, you can cook these on the grill, whatever you prefer.
Fry the burgers for 3 minutes on each side and then serve with tahini sauce and your favorite side dishes!
