Eating enough fruits and vegetables on a daily basis can definitely be tricky. Luckily, you can fool yourself into eating more than you ever thought you could with these tips!
Cut it Up
This sounds simple, but if something is already prepared for you to eat, you’re much more likely to eat it. This goes for things like apples and pears than can be eaten by hand, but if you cut them into slices, you are much more likely to reach for them while you’re occupied with something else.
This is great if you like to mindlessly snack while you work or watch TV because you’re not paying attention to the food anyway, so you might as well make them healthy!
Another amazing way to get more fruits and vegetables into your diet is by making them into smoothies, sauces, and soups. Smoothies are easy because you can use strong flavored fruits like bananas and berries to mask vegetables like kale or spinach.
But, if you blend a soup or sauce, you can also throw in some extra veggies without even knowing it. Spinach is great because the flavor is so mild, but veggies like cauliflower also work great and are super healthy!
