These Two Types of Sangria Will Get the Party Going

Sangria is a Spanish drink that is traditionally drunk in the Andulician region where it gets very hot. Sangria is a great drink to get you to cool down without having something too heavy. There are many kinds of sangrias, and these two recipes are both equally delicious, and depending on what kind of wine you prefer, you can enjoy either or both this summer and beyond!

White Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1/4 cup of sweetener, like honey, agave, or sugar
  • 1/4 cup of apple brandy
  • 1/2 green apple cubed
  • 1 peach or nectarine cubed
  • 1 cup of sliced strawberries
  • 1 bottle of white wine

Recipe

  1. Add the citruses and the sweetener and muddle. Add in the apple brandy and muddle again.
  2. Pour in the fruit and stir it around.
  3. Top it off with the white wine, stir to combine, and serve and cold!

Red Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1/2 an apple cubed
  • 1/2 an orange sliced
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup of orange juice
  • 1/3 cup of brandy
  • 1 bottle of red wine, preferably Spanish

Recipe

  1. Put the cut apples, oranges, and sugar into a pitcher and muddle.
  2. Add in the orange juice and brandy into the pitcher and muddle again.
  3. Pour in the wine, stir, and enjoy cold.
