This Frito Pie is All You Need for a Lazy Sunday Lunch

If you’ve been dying to try a Frito pie, this recipe will take 30 minutes of your time.

Ingredients:

For the frito pie you should get 1 chopped medium onion, 2 15-oz cans beans, 1 pound ground beef, 9-3/4 oz corn chips, 2 10-oz cans enchilada sauce, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, green onions. The beans should be pinto with tomato sauce.

Instructions:

This Frito pie you can serve like an appetizer, lunch or dinner. The whole beauty of the recipe is that you need half an hour to make it. Start by getting a skillet, where you’ll cook the onions together with the ground beef. Also, set the oven on 350 F degrees. Cook the meat for 6 to 8 minutes on medium heat. Stir constantly, so that you don’t have large chunks of meat. When you’re done, you can remove the excess liquid. Include the beans and start stirring again.

Grab a baking dish and grease the bottom. Start putting the corn chips on the bottom. Add a second layer with the meat on top, including the cheese and enchilada. Finish off with a second layer of chips. You should now put the dish in the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. When it’s done, top off the frito pie with the green onions and serve with sour cream on the side.
