No party is complete without something sweet. Rather than just putting out regular candy, why not make a giant version of everyone’s favorite; a peanut butter cup! Not only is it super easy to make, but it’s way more fun to eat! Put out this giant peanut butter cup will be a show stopper at any party for sure.
Instructions
- Get a tart pan and line the bottom parchment paper. Spray the sides of the pan with nonstick spray so the treat comes out easily.
- Melt 11/2 cups of dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl with your choice of 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening or coconut oil. Do it in 30-second intervals and stir in between until it’s completely melted.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the tart pan and freeze for half an hour.
- Combine 8 oz of peanut butter, 6 tablespoons of melted butter, 3/4 cup of crushed graham crackers, and 2 cups of powdered sugar in a bowl with an electric hand mixer until smooth.
- Press the peanut butter mixture into the chocolate shell softly and spread it evenly.
- Melt 2 more cups of dark chocolate with 1 1/2 tablespoons of shortening or oil and pour over the peanut butter layer.
- Put the tart pan it in the freezer for 30 minutes to set and you’re ready to serve!
