Are you a guacamole lover? This delicious avocado-based dip has been on fire in recent years due to its healthiness and its exquisite taste.
From tacos to burritos or nachos, guacamole can be used in a huge variety of dishes. And don’t just limit yourself to Mexican cuisine, because guacamole also goes great on hamburgers and lots of other non-Mexican dishes.
Here’s the simplest guacamole recipe you’ll ever find, making enough for about 4 servings.
Ingredients
2 large avocados
1 Roma tomato
½ white onion
Kosher salt
Black Pepper
Lime Juice
Instructions
First, remove the skin and pit from the two avocados. Dice up the flesh into small chunks and place into a bowl. Mash these chunks up with a spoon or fork until they have reached a smooth, creamy consistency with minimal solid chunks.
After this, dice the Roma tomato and the white onion into very small pieces. Once they have been chopped up, add them into the bowl containing the mashed avocado.
Next, you’ll want to take the lime juice and add a teaspoon or two to the guacamole. The amount that you can use is completely up to how much of a citrusy essence you want in your guacamole.
Finally, sprinkle with kosher salt and black pepper, and stir again. You’re finished. Wasn’t that easy?
