If you need ideas of how to prep your food before a trip, this is the guide for you.
Drinks
It’s a little easier if you’re in a car, because you can bring as much liquid as you want, but in an airport, you can only bring 3.5 oz.
Instead, if you want a coffee or a tea, bring instant coffee in little baggie or a bag of tea through security and ask for hot water once you’re through security! Most places will even give it to you for free!
Snacks
The key to travel snacks is to bring things that aren’t messy and don’t squish easily. The best idea is to bring pre-cut fruits and veggies so you don’t have to mess around with trying to eat them in a neat way. Apples, berries, and carrots are always a good way to go.
Main Course
If you’re going to be on a long flight and want to make sure you’re eating healthy, the best thing to do is to bring some roasted veggies and dried-but-seasoned couscous in a glass container.
Just ask for a cup of hot water on the plane, pour it over the grains, and let it sit covered for 10 minutes, and you have a fabulous meal!
