This is the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Recipe

There are as many ways to make a grilled cheese as there are to eat them, but this recipe promises to be one of the most decadent and indulgent you can find. Layered with three different types of cheese, and complete with that perfect level of crispness on the outside, once you’ve mastered this recipe you’ll be coming back to it again and again.

Ingredients (to make 1):

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup of grated mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup of grated cheddar
  • 1/4 cup of grated Comte
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Spread each side of both slices of bread with the mayonnaise.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, scatter enough of each of the three cheeses inside the sandwich to fill it. Sprinkle over the black pepper.
  3. Grill on each side until the bread browns, then serve immediately.

Rich, indulgent and satisfying, this is a great weekend recipe when you want a treat.
