An Israeli salad is an absolute staple all over the country for good reason. It’s super fresh, crisp, and is a beloved meal for any time of day. Once you learn how to make an Israeli salad, you won’t ever want to go back to salads with lettuce again.

To make the salad, dice up tomatoes and cucumbers super finely. Throw them into a bowl and then roughly chop a bunch of parsley or mint if you prefer. You can also add in red onions or peppers if you like, but keeping it simple is just as good.
To make the tahini dressing, it couldn’t be easier. Scoop out a few tablespoons of raw tahini into a bowl and add in half a clove of minced garlic, some lemon juice and a small splash of water, and stir. You want the consistency to be able to be drizzled on, but not too thin that it’s runny. Season with salt, pepper, and a bit of cumin and the dressing it ready!
