This Rigatoni Pasta Pie in a Mug Will Blow Your Mind

When hungry, all we want to do is eat immediately, so we won’t turn into hangry, right? And what’s better than an easy-to-make rigatoni pasta pie? Check out the phenomenal recipe below.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Marinara Sauce
  • ⅓ Cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 2 Teaspoons Fresh Basil, chopped
  • ¼ Pound Rigatoni Pasta, cooked and cooled
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, grated

The Process

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Then in a wide-mouth, oven-safe coffee mug place one tablespoon of marinara sauce. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese on top, add the chopped basil, the remaining mozzarella and again, cover it with marinara sauce.

Place the cooked rigatoni pasta into the mug, tube end facing up. Make sure it is snuggly so that the pasta could hold its shape after being baked. Again, use the marinara sauce and top the pasta with it, and lastly sprinkle it with parmesan cheese. Bake it for 20 minutes.

When the pasta is done, place a plate on top of the mug and flip it over. Voila! Your rigatoni pasta pie is ready! Bon appetit!
