Broccoli Cheddar Soup That Will Fully Nourish Your Body

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • ½ Onion, chopped
  • 2 ½ tablespoon Flour
  • 1 cup Half-and-half
  • 1 ¾ cups Chicken Broth
  • 3 cups Broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • Salt and Pepper

Method:

In a large pot, melt the butter and then add the chopped onions. Sautee it for about a minute or two, or until it turns transparent. Then add the flour and mix it with the onions until it turns a light brown color. Next, pour the half-and-half in and increase the heat a little bit. Add the chicken broth and give it a good mix. Then add the broccoli and leave it to simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes. Next, add the cheese, gradually, and mix it until it is completely melted. Lastly, season it with some salt and pepper.
