Sweet potato french fries are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional french fries.

Made with sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes, they have a unique flavor and add a creative touch to any meal.

Here is an easy recipe that shows you just how easy it is to make tasty sweet potato  fries at home.

Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • Spicy paprika
  • Garlic powder

Start by pre-heating your oven to 375 degrees F.

Once the oven is warming up, wash and cut your sweet potatoes into strips with about a quarter-inch or thickness. Don’t worry about removing the skin of the sweet potatoes—leaving them on is healthier and better tasting.

Once you’ve cut up the sweet potato, add the “fries” to a bowl. Toss them in extra-virgin olive oil until they are lightly coated. Then, begin to add the salt, black pepper, spicy paprika, and garlic powder while tossing. Use the seasonings to taste—you can add more paprika for more heat or more garlic powder for a tangy flavor.

Once the fries are seasoned, arrange them on top of parchment paper on an oven tray. Allow them to cook in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until they are slightly browned and crispy.

Take them out of the oven and allow to them to cool for 10-15 minutes until serving. Enjoy!
