If you’re the type of person who doesn’t love vegetables, it’s probably because you haven’t been roasting them. That’s right, we highly recommend roasting your vegetables. The result is so delicious, plus it requires minimal effort and you can do it with pretty much any vegetable. Just follow these tips and you’ll get the best results.

Wash and Dry

Of course, you’ll want to thoroughly rinse your veggies before cooking them to get off any dirt, but you’ll also want to make sure you dry them completely afterward. If you don’t, the leftover moisture could end up steaming the veggies in the oven instead of roasting them.

Embrace Sameness

In order to make sure that all of your veggies come out the same level of perfect, fork-soft done, you’ll want to make sure you chop them up into uniform pieces.

Don’t Overcrowd

Another way to avoid accidentally steaming your veggies in the oven instead of roasting them is to be careful not to overcrowd your vegetables on your baking sheet. If you find that you can’t fit all of the veggies onto a single sheet without them getting too close for comfort, just go ahead and use another one.
