If you’re looking for an easy, yummy dessert, then you are
- ½ Cup Badam aka Almonds
- 4 Cups Full Cream Milk
- 10-15 strands Saffron
- ½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- ¼ Cup Sugar
Before you start cooking, you must soak the badam (almond) in water for about 5-6 hours. Then, peel of the skin, grind it and make a smooth paste; add some milk if needed.
Afterward, pour the milk into a bowl and bring it to boil. Add the saffron and let it simmer on low heat until it is reduced to almost half. Don’t forget to stir! Then, add the badam paste and cook it until it thickens to the desired consistency. Lastly, add the cardamom powder and cook it for another 5 minutes. Serve it as desired; hot or cold.
For decoration, you add some saffron strands.
