Slice the mushrooms into medium-thick. Make sure they are sliced evenly for consistent cooking.

Lay the mushroom slices in a single layer on the cheese. Make sure they are not overlapping. Sprinkle with some onion powder, salt, and pepper for an extra flavor boost. 

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the mushroom slices for about 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cheese has melted and crisped up.
