When it comes to preparing the ideal dessert for a large gathering, it can something be just as nerve-wracking as it is exciting. On one hand, you’ve got some amazing ideas that you can’t wait to put into fruition. On the other hand, there are so many things that could go wrong. Here’s a little tip that may rub some people the wrong way. When prepping desserts, maybe you should avoid nuts.

Personal Preferences

Nuts are one of those weird foods that people either like or they don’t. Some people like them no matter what, others only like them on their own and not inside desserts, and others completely detest them. The point is that you never want to alienate a group of people from enjoying your dessert just because one silly thing. It’s really not worth it!


Another aspect to consider is that nuts are often the cause of a person’s allergies. True, you can always go out of your way to ask every person who’s going to eat at the meal if they’re allergic to anything. But first of all, that’s not always easy to do, and second of all, there are always random people who may show up unannounced.
