If you thought you only had to celebrate birthdays you’re wrong. Isn’t it amazing that every day is another national food day and another reason to eat what we like? I love it!

Yesterday Was Sticky Bun Day !
But who invented this dream piece? The real origins from sticky buns are something we could debate on. While some attributes the sticky bun to the Ancient Egyptians, other argue that it comes from Germany. However, one thing is sure. It is the Germans who have brought the sticky bun to Pennsylvania in the United States and from there, it has already reached the whole planet.
What’s is a Sticky Bun?

A sticky bun is an ultimate sweet roll and do not differ much from cinnamon rolls. The only difference is that sticky buns have a layer of caramel and nuts in the bottom of the pan.

Since yesterday was the national sticky bun day, I would suggest you to try a new and different recipe than the one you are usually making at home. You could alternate it with some maple, pecans or dates.
Caramel Sticky Bun Recipe:
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. In an un-greased round pan, place 1/4 cup butter. Heat it in the oven until the butter is melted.
2. Add brown sugar and corn syrup and mix until well incorporated.
3. In a small bowl, place 3 tbsp melted butter.
4. Separate dough into 10 parts.
