If you’re looking for inspiration to create a delicious cocktail at your next house party or social gathering, look no further than @apartment_bartender.

Not only does Elliot Clark, the brains behind the account, show us how to make delicious and inspiring cocktails, he’s one of us!

Clark doesn’t work in the bartending industry nor has he ever been trained to mix drinks. He describes himself as a “semi-decent home bartender,” but he should give himself more credit. All of the drinks that he shares on his page look absolutely outstanding.

A little BlackBerry Vanilla Old Fashioned to cap the night. Put this recipe together for the event I did with @huckberry and @lululemonmen a few weeks back. Question for ya: If I put together a video on making different syrups at home would y’all watch it? Comment yay or nay 👇🏽 . • 2 oz Bourbon • 1/4 oz BlackBerry Vanilla Syrup • 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters . Blackberry Vanilla Syrup Combine and handful of blackberries, equal parts sugar, and water into a small-medium sauce pan over low heat. Bring to a light simmer and muddle the blackberries in the pan. Gently stir until the sugar is dissolved, and remove from heat. For the vanilla flavor, I recommend using vanilla bean pods instead of extract. Add in 1-2 vanilla beans split lengthwise with the little black seeds scraped out. Let the vanilla bean and seeds steep in the syrup as it cools to room temperature. Strain the syrup through a mesh strainer to remove the solids, as well as a coffee filter to remove the tiny vanilla seeds. Keep the syrup refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

#NegroniWeek is almost here! If you’re new to a Negroni cocktail, it’s basically one of the best drinks of all time. If you’re new to Negroni week, @campariusa and @imbibe are leading the charge again to bring bars, restaurants and vendors together to raise money for charities around the world. Going to be doing a crawl around Denver next week to explore my new city and search for the best one this town has to offer, but in the meantime here’s a variation for you to mix up at home. The classic Negroni recipe is an easy equal parts Campari, gin and sweet vermouth, but if you’re feeling like going a step beyond, try this Peach Agricole Negroni. Get after it y’all! . Peach Agricole Negroni 🍑 • 1 oz Campari • 1 oz Rhum Agricole • 1/4 oz Peach Liqueur • 3/4 oz Dry Vermouth • Dash of chocolate bitters . Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass and stir with ice. Strain into a rocks glass over ice and garnish with a grapefruit twist. . #Imbibe #ImbibeGram #Campari #NegroniWeek #Partner

Hopping back on the posting bandwagon. A little rusty right now so gimme a break, but here are some updates: I stepped in dog poop the other day so that was cool. Bought a new pair of Nike’s which didn’t ship when they said it would ship so also cool. Had a taco for lunch today. K, that should get you all caught up on recent happenings 🌮 Also, this @ketelone cocktail from my @thebeehivesf pop up was mighty yummy so you should give it a try. K, happy Tuesday 🕺🏽 . Why Am I Like This • 1.5 oz @ketelone vodka • 1/2 oz @cappelletti_aperitivo • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice • 1/2 oz strawberry syrup • Dash of angostura bitters . Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake with ice to chill. Strain into a cup and top with crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and sliced strawberry. . #ApartmentBartender
