Americans consume poultry more than any other meat, with around 21 million chickens eaten every day! If our math is correct, that works out to about 8 billion a year. Seeing as so many chickens are being served, variety is needed. Here are 4 different marinades so you don’t have to cook the same thing every day.

Barbecue

As far as classic flavors go, this is right up there. Grab your favorite bottle of BBQ sauce, throw in some garlic and paprika, and place your chicken on the grill. It’ll taste like summer all year round.

Honey Mustard

Sweet and a little spicy, honey and mustard go so perfectly with chicken. Make the marinade as sharp as you like by using different mustard varieties (Dijon mustard is our best!) Add in some lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to balance out the sweetness.

Italian

If you love herbs, you’ll adore this marinade. Both dried and fresh herbs go into this Italian-inspired marinade that is full of basil, parsley, rosemary, oregano, garlic, and olive oil.

Asian

This marinade is the upgraded version of teriyaki. It features soy sauce, honey, rice wine vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame seeds for a salty-sweet zing.
