There’s a reason pancakes are so popular. Most people enjoy this delicious, fluffy dessert on any occasion, for breakfast or dinner, and the only downside is that they can be high in calories and sugar. If you make a few swaps, you can get perfectly guilt-free pancakes that are just as delicious as the “original” ones. Here’s our favorite recipe for pancakes and the filling that is perfectly balanced between healthy and delicious.
- 2 eggs
- 17 oz almond milk
- 9 oz sparkling water
- 1 lb almond flour
- pinch of salt
- 3 teaspoons cocoa
- peanut butter
- favorite fruit
- shredded coconut
- To make pancakes, mix the ingredients in a bowl, making sure the mixture is lump-free.
- Bake the pancakes in a hot pan.
- Spread peanut butter over each pancake, top with chopped fruit, and sprinkle some coconut.
We’re sure you’re going to love these modified pancakes just like you do the ones you ate as a child, perhaps even more knowing that they’re actually good for you!
