Summertime is salad time! Salads are one of the best and easiest dishes to make, especially when it’s just too hot to cook. While the ingredients you put in are important, the secret to a good salad is undoubtedly the dressing.

Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

The humble vinaigrette is the French’s gift to salad. Made with oil, vinegar, and seasonings, it is simple but delicious. This version is a vinaigrette on its way to prom. Purée some fresh or frozen raspberries and strain out the seeds. Add in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper.

Cilantro and Lime

Cilantro is a very polarising herb, with people either loving it or outright detesting it. If you love it like we do, then you need to make this dressing. Combine chopped cilantro, lime juice, and minced garlic with some plain Greek yogurt. Add in water until you achieve the consistency you want.

Spicy Peanut Butter

Peanut butter is good in just about everything, so why not put it in salad dressing?! Mix up some PB with soy sauce, minced garlic, fresh ginger, chili flakes, honey, and lime juice. If it’s too thin, thin it out with water.
