Ingredients

For this dish you need:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into small pieces
1 cup yogurt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
4 long skewers
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 teaspoons fresh ground cumin
2 teaspoon paprika
1-8oz can tomato sauce
1 clove minced garlic
1 cup heavy cream
1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

Mix the lemon juice, cinnamon, yogurt, black pepper, 2 teaspoons cumin, ginger, cayenne, salt together in a bowl. Add the chicken and leave it in the fridge for one hour.

In the meantime, set the grill on high heat. Place the chicken pieces on the skewers without the sauce. Put them in the grill for 5 minutes per side.

Add the butter to a skillet, then cook the garlic and jalapeno for a minute.

Now, include the paprika, 3 teaspoons salt, and 2 teaspoons cumin. You can pour in the tomato sauce, then the cream. Leave it to simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

Include the chicken and let the tikka masala simmer for extra 10 minutes.

Top it off with cilantro in the dish.
