Gooey Baked Brie With Nuts And Figs

Brie is one of the greatest gifts France has given to the world. It’s creamy, smooth, and with a flavor profile that works with so many dishes. There’s no surprise that baked brie is one of the biggest pleasures in life, which combines brie and an array of flavors that all melt together in the oven. If you are looking for a fun starter for a party or a simple way to make any night special, baked brie is the dish for you.

The classic combination of figs and cheese work amazingly well in this dish.

First, heat up some fig jam or preserves in the microwave just for 30 seconds to loosen it up.

In the meantime, chop up any nights you like, such as walnuts, almonds, or pistachios.

Then, cut up the figs, either dried or fresh and combine them with nuts. Use half of the warmed jam to mix in with the figs and nuts.

Put the brie in an oven safe dish or a cast iron pan. Spread the other half of the jam on the brie and then cover it with the nuts and figs.

Bake at 375F degrees for 10 minutes and enjoy!
