High-Protein Ice Cream is the Best Way to End a Meal

Who said ice cream can’t be healthy? If you’re trying to up your protein intake, but fancy something sweet, this ice cream is perfect. Only three ingredients are needed to make this high-protein treat, and we have a feeling you won’t be able to stop at just one scoop.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 fruit of choice (optional)
  • ½ cup peanut butter (optional)
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place the cottage cheese, honey, and fruit (if you are using) in a food processor and blend until smooth. 
  2. Stir through the peanut butter and chocolate chips.
  3. Pour the mixture into a container and place it in the freezer for 4 hours. Stir the ice cream once an hour until you are happy with the consistency.
