A potent mix between a classic bourbon and a sweet iced tea, here is your guide to making the perfect bourbon peach iced tea that’s sure to hit the spot.

Ingredients:

  • 6 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh peaches, peeled
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 sliced fresh peach

Instructions:

  1. Pour the 1 1/2 pounds of fresh peeled peaches into a medium pot along with sugar and two cups of water. Warm the mixture over medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes until the peaches have cooled. Strain the syrup through a sieve and press on the peaches with a spoon in order to extract the maximum juice.
  2. Boil four cups of water in a kettle. Add tea bags and allow to cool for 5 to 8 minutes.
  3. Pour the tea into a pitcher and add one cup of the syrup you made earlier. Add four more cups of water and stir.
  4. Add the bourbon to the mix and enjoy.
