This Cucumber-Melon Mojito Will Cool You Down This Summer

If you’re looking for some relief in the summer heat, then a cucumber-melon mojito will do well to quench your thirst. Here is your guide to concocting a cucumber-melon mojito that may just become your new favorite summer cocktail.


  • ice
  • soda water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • 3/4 ounce Midori
  • 2 Persian cucumbers
  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum


  1. Boil the sugar and water in a pot over medium heat. Stir occasionally for about 3 minutes, until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat before adding cucumbers and mint to the pot. Allow the mixture to cool before straining into a jar or bottle. Refrigerate until use.
  3. Pour the rum, lime juice, Midori, mint, and 3/4 ounces of the cucumber syrup into a glass. Top off with soda water and mint and serve.
