Ingredients:
- 6 hoagie rolls
- 12 provolone slices
- 3 ribeye steaks, boneless
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons thyme
- 1/4 yellow onion
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Baste the olive oil all over the steaks before submerging them in a roasting pan.
- Mix sage, salt, pepper, and oregano in a small bowl. Massage the mixture into the meat.
- Roast the beef in the oven for 20 minutes.
- While waiting for the beef to cook, start making the jus.
- Start by placing a pan over medium heat and cook onion until soft, for about 3 minutes. Add garlic and thyme, cooking for another minute.
