How to make healthy milk and cereal breakfast bars

Let’s face it – everybody wants to eat healthily but doesn’t want to put the effort into doing so. Everyone wants a healthy breakfast from time to time but gets discouraged by the amount of effort it takes to prepare one.

Well, times are changing and healthy meals can be prepared in a matter of minutes. One notable example is cereal and milk bars, something that your entire family will love.

They can be taken to work, school or anywhere else you might want to eat them. Without any additives or preservatives, these breakfast bars are an ideal energy snack. Here’s how to make them!

What you need:

  • 2 cups of Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 1/4 cups of any boxed cereal
  • Nuts or seeds (optional)

How to make it:

Just mix everything and make it into bars. When the bars are all set, focus on the pan. Cover the bottom and the sides with parchment paper. This is very important because the paper prevents the bars from sticking to the pan.

Put all the bars on the covered pan, cover them with a loose plastic wrap and put them in the freezer for 4-8 hours. You can eat them immediately!
