Every time you host a party, appetizers are the star of the night. Having numerous great starter recipes is a must if you want your guests to have a good time. This creamy salmon dip is so tasty and will definitely be everyone’s favorite.
Ingredients
For this recipe you need:
2 oz softened cream cheese
8 oz fresh salmon
1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
juice of 1/2 lemon
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup 2% Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
1 4-oz pack smoked diced salmon
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
6 oz whole wheat naan bread
1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives
Instructions
Get a saucepan and fill it with the wine and 3 cups water. Wait for the liquid to boil and add the salmon skin-side down. Let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
Take the salmon out of the pan and remove its skin. Using a fork, divide it into small chunks.
In a bowl mix the cream cheese, chunks of salmon, lemon juice, smoked salmon, dill, yogurt, chives, salt, pepper. Combine all the ingredients and stir them well. Place the mix in the fridge.
You can start broiling the naan for 2 to 3 minutes. It should have a brownish color. Add it on the side of the salmon dip.
