Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh cod
  • salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup grated Pecorino Romano
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
  • tartar sauce
  • lemon wedges

Instructions:

  1. Cut the cod into strips, about 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Whisk flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper together in a shallow bowl.
  3. In a second bowl, whisk together eggs and a pinch of salt.
  4. In a third bowl, whisk together breadcrumbs, Pecorino Romano, and seafood seasoning.
