These peanut butter chocolate brownies are the ultimate treat. They’re super rich and chocolatey, with a delicious peanut butter flavor. They’re also fudgy and dense, so are perfect if you’re after a super indulgent sweet treat. While these brownies are delicious on their own, they’re even better when warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
- 1½ cups plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup demerara sugar
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter
- 2 eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 340℉.
- Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
- Add the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and sugar to a large bowl.
- Add the butter and beat into the mixture until smooth.
- Crack the eggs into the mixture and whisk until well combined.
- Add the peanut butter and stir until everything is thoroughly mixed together.
- Pour the brownie mixture into the lined baking tray and shake it to smooth out the top layer.
- Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
- Check the brownies are cooked in the middle by sticking a knife in and checking it comes out clean.
- Once cooked, transfer to a cooling rack and leave for 10 minutes.
- Cut into 12 even-sized squares and enjoy!
