This No-Cook Chipotle Sauce is Super Versatile, Easy, and Can Be Made Vegan!

Creamy chipotle mayo is the perfect sauce for so many reasons. First of all, it’s a no-bake sauce, and it comes together in 5 minutes flat. Second, it’s the perfect combination of tang, acid, and heat, which makes for a great balance for whatever dish you’re cooking. You can use it as a dip or spoon it on top of your Tex-Mex favorites, but no matter how you eat it, you will love it and make it a regular sauce in your home.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup of mayo
  • 1-2 chipotle peppers that have been in adobo sauce
  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 a lime
  • 1 teaspoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of honey or agave syrup if you’re making it vegan
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Recipe

  1. First, start by juicing the lime into the bowl of a food processor.
  2. Peel the garlic clove and put it into the food processor as well.
  3. Add the chipotle peppers, olive oil, sweetener, Greek yogurt, and mayo in as well. If you want to make it completely vegan, swap out the yogurt and mayo for 3/4 cup of vegan mayo instead.
  4. Blend everything up until nicely combined, taste, and season to your taste with the pepper and salt.
